next week could be interesting huge jump in open interest late this past week in comex gold futures was it was placed by "strong hands" or even "stronger hands" or a hedge against something else (?)

from what I read ... the chinese market is not going to be too big at first or will basically be used for hedging locally in their currency but maybe down the road it will be a thing to look at my understanding is that each contract will be equal to approx one mini YG futures and the...

you can get movement in various futures in that time frame however there are also times when those contracts are standing still and it is like watching "paint dry" :p

sometimes I use them ( TD pivots ) but there are other pivots ( like those mentioned in MBF's book ) that have a following too ...

what experience do you have in trading futures or even stocks ? you might want to experiment with the use of ETF's or use of the mini futures while learning what works and does not work in your trading methodology good luck

personally I think there are some firms out there ( hedge funds investment banks market makers prop firms etc that are trying to make you "puke out" your trades at a loss ( and a profit to them) :eek:
