gold has performed nice over any timeframe in almost all currencies including the Euro ( except perhaps on days like today ) :eek:

another suggestion do not trade during the time of day when you have "no clue" ( this can vary from market to market )

hi realist ... your prices mentioned : are they for Gold and silver in the "spot- cash" or "futures"?

here is a short quiz .... spot the error ( at least my my prof. opinion ) made in the following quote in todays wires regarding the yellow metal -Gold could reach 1000 usd per ounce in a couple of weeks quite easily. If you look at the March future contract at 920 usd per ounce, 2-3 pct...

seems like the banks are raising their projections in recent days or weeks for gold the london bullion bullion market assoc. sent out a news release friday saying its annual survey projected an annual spot gold price of $862.00 USD and that a little over half of their survey...

ha ha ha ... made $500 - $1000 on my "junk silver coin collection ... but lost close to this amount daytrading silver futures but cannot complain ... its been a very good week for my acct ( nice to see spot silver back above $16.00 ) :cool:

I read on the newswire reports that some folks paid a hefty premium to the cash gold price to get their buys in ... in china ... for some reason they trade june futures out there instead of feb or april as we do here :confused:

any silver's bears last stand was this am in european trade same thing happened a few weeks ago or months ago a fierce rally up to around the $16.25 level basis the most active futures contract then ... whammo ... back under $16.00 perhaps the next time $16.00 will stick ... :p

as I type this spot gold has made new highs for the bull market ... got a shade over $891.00 USD and is now hanging out at the $888 level ( feb futures got to about $894.50 by the way ) :cool:
