hi ho silver and awaaay !!! gosh what a squeeze going on into FND this week spot silver is now over $19 and got as high as $19.25 plus a cent or so in tonights Asian session

you should look at the price of sugar in the early 1970's and 1980's now those were some explosive moves both up and down :cool:

rollover week should add to the volatility ( i.e march 08 - july 08 )

datamerc many traders have been where you have been if you have an "edge" and know how to prevent yourself from -revenge style- adding on to losers or holding on to losers syndrome and know the best "time of day" and what "is driving the markets" that day as well as charts in various...

see if your trading platform allows you to "pre-set" a price % filter to prevent you from buying or selling at nutty prices waaaaaaaaaay awaaaaaaaay from the market :p

kudos to those of you who took time to write down some thoughts about this yr expo in nyc personally the highlight for me was eyeballing some of the pretty ladies at the booths ... other than that and some schmoozing with industry folks and wishing them well in 08 I felt the expo was not so...

I usually try to attend at least one session of the annual NY EXPO ... having been a trader and worked in the biz most of my adult life I will try to give encouragement to anyone who is struggling if asked at the expo anyone can change the letters spelling "loser" into...

surf ... if I find time I will come by to shake everyone's hand and wish them well at your -event- I only have one choco - cigar at this time though :)

2 - 2 1/2 % gained for the week which was not bad considering I did not actively trade until midweek had some positions going into the week that did well for me even though they were for the most part hedged
