sorry for my being a little confused here I am used to XAU as the amex pm mining index however I am assuming the -xauusd- being referred to here is a reference point for spot gold trading via some forex broker that offers this as well as all the majpr pairs what kind of spread is...

the mini contract YI has a wider spread and alot more slippage when hidden stop loss orders are hit from time to time one edge the small trader has with this contract is less leverage and the ability to force the BOTS to tighten the spread before placing your order :cool:

oil was just catching up to natty gas last week wish I was long natty a yr or so ago when it was tanking :p

if you look hard enough and are a real ET maven you might find an odd lot out there this am ( pre market ) a free lunch so to speak of in a commodity based ETF say 72 shares being mispriced ... yours for the taking :p

one can also use the cash or spot market for a reference point :cool:

I agree ... silver can be as whippy as any of the energy derivatives sheesh ... why in blazes is the gold silver ratio approaching 53 ? when silver is supposed to be scarcer to find via the dealers than gold ( confused pm trader below ) :confused:
