here is my two cents worth its a traders market not a bull and bear market :)

FINALLY !!! maybe there will be some liquidity out there again in the yi yg zi zg metals futures contracts if they get a few good market makers , arb'ers , hedge fund biz yada yada yada that was lost to the comex when they went gung ho into globex electronic :cool:

depending on the time of day and the orderflow the spread can be under 2 cents in silve futures other times when some market participants are afraid of more "monkey business" ( i.e. if there was a spike up or down in the price of silver a minute or two ago prior ) the spread can be...

if anyone doubts my returns the next time you are in nyc I will show them to you ( after you buy me a nice glass of wine at a good wine bar ) I value my privacy and do not wish to show a "blotter" daily however once a week I post here to show others that it is possible to overcome...

dude ... this yr is the culimination of yrs of hard work and believe me I should have been carried off the trading landscape on life support yrs ago sheesh at one point I was thinking of quiting to become a trucker except I do not drive that much thanks for the kind words :p

try to limit the mistakes that lose your hard earned money try looking - outside the box - ( i.e. maybe you are better suited for trading another market at different hours using a different approach or different time frame ) good luck to you

nice move this evening in Asian trade even if it is only following gold higher :)

you can still find some "arb" from time to time ( i.e this am the opening GLD trades were almost $1.00 higher than the theoretical value of GLD ) * note I sold some and locked in a profit buy buying futures ... however I was not able to continue to sell anymore and lost some...

all I will say is beware when the market maker ( s ) hedge funds ( arbs ) yada yada yada do the a. slinky b.hoola-hoop c.twist d.flipper e. ( ---- your choice @#$%^&*) and you cannot trade against them when this happens I usually A. stand aside B. place orders far away...

a few yrs ago ZG would have been the better choice for screen trading now GC is far and away the king of the metals by the way ... YG is a good choice for getting your feet wet in futures trading during daytime USA hours as it us 1/3 the size of GC +ZG or one can trade 100 shares...

the way silver traded late last week you will be happy if you got stopped out at $100 on the way to $85 , 70 $50 :eek:

the COT reports show alot of liquidation in gold for both long and short yet their has been no new "offtake" in GLD for quite sometime my interpretation of the COT report for silver shows commercial buying coming in perhaps some shrewd traders are selling silver to force longs in...

sheesh ... a wild week even for me monday my acct was up 4 % tuesday it was down in the am on paper 6 % but I turned it back to the plus side within 24 hours finished the week up 4-6 % :)
