The spread was put on today before the cattle Market closed. Washington State CDC released the news of the findings early this morning. I thought the the press conference was this afternoon after the cattle market closed :confused:

With a Phd in Physics, there are proabably a lot of trading positions available to you at firms that are heavily into quant stuff. This would include larger institutions and hedge funds AGREE totally ..... as far as posters with more than 1000 posts being Elite Traders .... ha ha...

I don't see how anyone can turn a profit holding a stock for 3-5 minutes. most of my equity profits came from holding only 3-5 seconds ( arbitrage opps usually only last that long ) :)

experience trading or are you extremely bright and motivated? are you under 30 yrs old ? there is a company in nyc that accepts resumes and interns .... it is very hard to get job there but you never know what might happen unless you try. they also have 1-2 times a yr seminar , but...

do not pay much attention to posters who give advice without much prior posting history ... they can be shills or scam artists promoting their firm or website
