for taking time to reply in such detail what is WHB ? is it mentioned in Nison books ? I know pivot 's ( or variations ) of are used by some floor traders as part of their strategy maybe not so much by screen traders

I am curious how many traders are able to trade various markets using projected pivots and daily ranges based on prior day (s) ranges and can consistantly game the market this way without falling to problems of discipline and overtrading etc

your method does not work so good if you do not have rock bottom commissions i.e. if your commission is < $3 RT much better than > $5 RT

for me its a matter of looking for divergence in prices in % terms then looking to take both sides possibly and covering when they come back in line or when one is really kicking and the other is steady

went long Euro on retracement after the 8:30 EST am # good so far ( even saw gold was stronger in % terms ) scalped my couple of pips ... was happy ... then saw the Euro breaking out not so happy :(

did you once say on the thread you traded off an hourly or 4 hour chart ? I always thought it was off a 30 minute or shorter timeframe ? or can you do all of the above when trading your methods?

for gold futures we switch from JUNE to AUGUST as lead month i.e. in mini YG gold ... I am only lightly trading AUG now although I am watching June as it is still lead month as rollover week switches into high gear ...

what does SL mean ? ( stop loss )? if so is not your stop loss too close to entry and did you typo in a bad handle ? good luck - GBP Long at 1.8102 SL at 1.8192 -
