Spot on. Pretty much all they do is put an alert on your file with all three agencies, which you can do yourself by calling any one of them and that takes about 5 or 10 minutes.

Many times two elected officials will get together and both agree not to vote on a given issue if one is going to vote yes, the other no. This free's up time for them to work on other things, and sometimes to avoid what could be a controversial vote.

I've thought about going to Bombay, they have a very good hospital there that is staffed by American Trained physicians and staff. There is also a place in Thailand that is supposed to be excellent.
