Long term I'd bet on the "speculators", even though they don't have unlimited funds, they are usually a hell of a lot smarter than the government.

I think that 70 is probably on the low end for as long as they have been around and all the advertising they do. A number a lot of people have said is seventy, if you got into the room there are about 90 people, in my experiance that would mean about 60 to 70 paying members.

I actually found making calls to a group of several hundred people very stressful, one of the reasons that even though I could easily make several hundred thousand dollars a year doing it again I dont.

If you are daytrading an amount under say $150,000 or so I dont see why 10% per month is not reasonable, just don't expect to compound it. I should add the caveat that I no longer daytrade on a regular basis.

I'd agree with that, both as a former sponsor and currently a regular member. In both regards there simply is not a place where you get "more for the buck" than on ET. I've also found 99% of the people here to be very pleasant. (esp since I'm no longer a vendor..that seemed to help my rep a lot)
