BTW, I was not trying to be a smart ass with my post here, but simply to make a point. Not many of us are smart enough to figure out why the market pays attention to one thing and not another, and while it is ALWAYS a good idea to ask yourself why, its not a good idea to get so caught up in it...

Currently I do not have a very large stable of stocks I own, I am however even thining that down and going to cash (exception: JAPAN). Again I am going to cash. I do have an order in to buy TRID above 26.50 and in IRIX on a breakout higher.

If there turns out to be trillions of barrels of oil there do you really expect it not too? Also keep in mind that that the high price not only produces an incentive for oil companies to explore both for new oil and improved technology, it incourages the research into alternative sources...

I tend to disagree that the oil sands will not be a profitable venture, but to think that simply because large companies are involved it is immune from being a big waste is silly.

Im going to go back to cash now. I will have my short in the beamer and that is it. Will start to build back into positions later, but I feel we are in for a pullback here. Very nice profits.

TRID has a nice setup above 24.40. This is one that will allow us to combine an intraday scalp setup with a nice weekly setup in a stock that has solid fundamentals. Best kind of situation to find yourself in.
