Almost all the time, around the important number releases, the TOTAL bid/ask goes down to 50-100. I can't believe the heavy bid ask volume this time. Edit: Do you save the bid/asks from the book?

I've never seen it like this before! I saw single bid ask levels >10,000 right around 8:30 am EST!!! Also, bid asks of multiple thousands were switching sides. Has anyone else seen these?

I think you seriously got the bug. Hopefully, you'll reach your goal but then you'll want a 10-figure number, then 11-figures. There's no turning back :)

The intraday margin at IB for FX futures ends at 2:45 pm EST. That's roughly when the bond and FX futures pits close too.

It's a nice way to curb the addiction. For a while I used the simulation mode in Bracket Trader--that was satisfying too. Especially since you're scalping, it looks like you might have opportunities almost all the time.

Wow, I was just watching charts and TV and the futures spiked 30 points on extremely low volume around 2:10 am EST. I think the extra volume was < 50 contracts!!!

It was a "good" day for me in the sense that I followed my entry and exit triggers properly. I went short-long-short. I managed to overcome my directional biases and didn't go into insane mode as the Beast switched directions and nice chunk of the profits were left on the table due to trailing...

I'll be surprised if we make such a move during the current US session. Maybe overnight or tomorrow. I think we're confined here between 1.2765-1.2820 for the current session....

We're either chopping here or making a local bottom. Now I have a slight long bias.
