you can cancel open order during the halt. i'm talking about option, where open order canceled automatically, if stock is halted and i'm not sitting next to computer.

if order placed before halt -it's not going to be canceled after stock is halted. i know that from my recent very painfull expirience. :D if you trying to place limit when stock is already halted-then it will be rejected.
