it wasn't only a j-trader problem friday...i talked to some traders that were using a broker with Realtick and they were informed that "CME data problem" the same time i lost my data.

168- If it was at 10:30 est lots if not everyone lost mini data...I use j-trader from another firm and it went out for a good 2minutes or so. And i know people who were on other platforms w/ other firms lost it at the same time I did...so it may have been a Globex issue.

I opened a demo acct at FXCM and ran over to the library yesterday. Took out a book called, "How the foreign exchange markets work", by Rudi Weisweiller. Might give a mini acct a shot after the demo ends. Not sure yet. Gonna look for some more educational materals too.
