Is the laptop getting any signal at all? (it may have a light on the task bar or the PC card itself). You may have the WEP encryption enabled or the settings might be different because of different manufacturs... in other words, there are security features that protect you from other people...

There are no uptik rules/short rules etc with futures....so it's just "Buy" and "Sell"......thats really it. I like the "Dome" window on J-trader for order entry. Nice and simple point and click on the price. To place stops , point and right-click. Goodluck. Uptik2000:cool:

Roger- From my experience (I have the series 7,63,31,65) you need to be sponsored by a exchange member firm. You may need to have the 7 (or 6) to be able to sit for the 55. Not sure if any firm would go through the paperwork etc to sponsor you unless they thought you were going to work for...

I had the pleasure of meeting Gene back in the fall of 2001 when I was looking at different firms. From the second I walked in his office I felt like he was giving me 110% of his full attention. and like many have said...very professional, and a nice guy. My deepest sympathies.

Last year we did it on Yahoo...no money ..no cost..just bragging rights and fun. Did I win that one last year? I forget already. Commisso , where are you when we need you?
