    "Wolf of Wall Street" review

I have no problem with totally empty calories but if that is what I am gorging myself on it has to taste good. My problem with this flick is it just ain't very funny!!

    Deep Value

Seems to me you need the "value overshoot" to win yet it is precisely that which may make it no longer your trade. Quite a nice crossroads to arrive at. Maybe a smaller position as you buy into the earnings story and maybe you can't buy into that new story for too long even if it's a good one...

    "Wolf of Wall Street" review

Just watched it on DVD. Three hours of my life lost with relatively little entertainment value. A step below mediocre. I kept waiting for it to get better.

I'm looking for suggestions for a good broker for my needs (details in post)

Can you really execute your strategy with less than 5K?

Best Country for Trading (Tax efficiency)

That is likely to depend on the country you are a citizen of. The EU does not dictate tax policy to its member countries.

    Deep Value

Not at all my style but nicely laid out. I can see exactly where you are coming from.

Company is Banning Trading from Work?

Even calling it an understatement is an understatement. This guy really believes in his point of view.

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

Here is what I don't get about many firms -- AMP and others. They put a lot of effort into getting "the call" from potential clients. It stands to reason that those calls are made at the point the potential client is searching. It seems to me there are few things more related to the growth of...

    Opening a proprietary account.

You can open an account with any broker almost anywhere in the world -- not Cuba or Iran. You must conform to the IRS reporting requirements.

Company is Banning Trading from Work?

The saga continues and, as it does, it declines to new depths unimagined by the crowd!!

Rithmic Announces Nonrenewal of Zen-Fire Use

This is first class advice. If you have a reason (usually margin) to trade with a weakly capitalized firm never increase your risk by keeping excess funds there. I also think some can trade a bit "closer to the bone" than keeping double the day trade margin in their account. Leverage is never...

    "Wolf of Wall Street" review

By and large quite a good description of the reality. A numbers game ... dialing for dollars. They like to bring some money -- even if it is small -- into the house with a stock that is a household name that way all the account opening BS is behind them when it is time to sell them a huge...

    "Wolf of Wall Street" review

Simply referring to the fact that he claims to be trying to get you to commit to a one hour pitch when in reality it is a good deal longer. And, inside of the first two minutes, lies about it repeatedly.

    Good books on futures daytrading/scalping?

Good idea. Let's consider it done.

    Good books on futures daytrading/scalping?

When you take a piece of my quote and follow it with this nonsense you are clearly implying I said you were lying. But that never was the case. Quote from wrbtrader: It's very simple...not complicated. His method works during a specific 5 hour duration. I'm not lying...that's what...

    Good books on futures daytrading/scalping?

It gets awful tiresome to read about things I said that I never said. I never said or even infeered that you were lying. In fact it never crossed my mind. Don't you think if he had backtested stats he would have said so? Why make up what he might have? Better to work off what he has...

Looking for 1000 to 1500 sq. ft. office space in Miami

If it is space you need it seems RE brokers are the logical first step. When you are almost done with your setup and looking to populate tht space ET starts to make sense but this is an awfully weak place to look for office space.

    "Wolf of Wall Street" review

Ya gotta love a guy that lies to you within the first two minutes ... repeatedly. The video is an hour and twenty four and he assures you it is no more than an hour and then repeats that a couple of more times. I always like to verify the first few hard factual items that a guy pitches me...
