    Selling Bitcoin?

In my opinion, when volatility drastically drops, everyone gets out, and price drops. Nobody needs to hold BTC once they think its not going higher. If price stayed the same, it wouldn't protect against inflation because you always need it to go higher to buffer the losing value of the dollar...

MasterCard Joins Visa, PayPal On The Crypto Payments Bandwagon

If this was the case, shouldn't MC also refuse to do business with HSBC? I'm sure they do. Its honorable to refuse to do business with money laundering entities, but when major banks do exactly this with the only punishment being maybe a small fine, then the whole endeavor is a joke.

    Elon Musk, Tesla and Bitcoin

Are you really trying to tell us that for TSLA, a 1.5 billion purchase of BTC represents 1% of their cash? This would mean that TSLA has 150 billion in cash? Imagine how poor apple must be feeling with only 200 billion of cash, just a little more than supposedly TSLA...

    The Cryptocurrency Trading Journal

I completely agree with this point. The other day someone posted about how some Warren Buffet metric was off the charts. During dotcom bust, I think the value was 150%, and now its at 200%, as if a crash if coming. But there are too many different parameters now. Interest rates are vastly...

Easy. Any US broker of crypto gets shut down and can't do business in the US. Sure, take your BTC and exchange for another currency in some other country, but now you're stuck trying to launder money like criminals and will lose a good percentage in order to try and get it back to the US.

Excellent response, and I can't argue with this. But honestly, since we know the government needs to keep a tight grip on the money system used within its borders, it has get involved eventually. As much as I don't like what the FED is doing to the dollar, I'm not sure how far a country can...

    The Cryptocurrency Trading Journal

Why should TSLA even bother making cars at this stage? Just keep buying BTC. The revenue stream from cars is almost non-existent, and Elon having the cash to buy BTC is only because of the additional shares they sold. And how on earth will the balance sheet looking going forward. The assets...

    The Cryptocurrency Trading Journal

Sure, but once everyone is looking for an exit, what does that do to the price? The government can easily say that with rising BTC values, they are making it illegal to trade in the US because they are trying to protect the consumer. It is so incredibly easy in my opinion. So if you have a...

I worry that once central banks launch their own crypto, they might come down hard on BTC and ETH. And sure, these will still be worth something to someone, but if it's made illegal to withdraw USD from US brokers, the value drop could be very severe.

An Attempt to Learn How to Trade Consistently and Profitably

Oh, one more question though. If the chart that you show is from your platform, how is it that its able to display entering a short position while still in the longs? Also, what exactly do you mean when you say you hedged your longs by going short? It seems like all you did was enter short...

An Attempt to Learn How to Trade Consistently and Profitably

Totally agree with this. And the trades you show clearly weren't easy trades. But lets not forget that this quote below is what you shared initially, as if you caught the bottom. That by itself sounds exactly like something the fake gurus would say, but the reality of the trade was much...

An Attempt to Learn How to Trade Consistently and Profitably

Dude, in your post, you made it sound like you had put on an excellent trade. But all I see in your chart are two long that took on a significant drawdown before you sold them for a tiny profit. Then you have 2 shorts that you entered on essentially the low. And it was only that last long...

An Attempt to Learn How to Trade Consistently and Profitably

I love how your story changes. LOL... You go on and on about how awesome of a bottom you called. But not the real explanation is that you thought long was the direction, but decided to hedge with shorts (meaning you didn't really trust your longs), and then you changed your mind again to say...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

In my opinion, the best action to describe is one where the initial thesis fails. We have seen volpri reverse a trade I think 3 times in total from my count. This was a case of scaling into a trade, and then completely bailing on it, and doubling up on the amount of contracts in the reverse...

    Elon & RH CEO conversation

What is that bullshit about "from their perspective Citadel had nothing to do with it". Why even mention Citadel? If its a clear cut case of having to maintain certain capital at the clearing houses, then there is no need to introduce this other angle. When you say something along the lines...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

What makes you switch from long to short? In the last chart, after 12:50, you start now showing red boxes for shorting opportunities, but without hindsight bias, how are you switching sides? How is 12:50 to even 13:20 perhaps not just another pullback? Sure, by 13:20 we have many bear bars...
