    support/resistance in YM

what I meant was, there could be situations where, say, your short gets hit then rallies, hits the long, and then procedes to fade. I guess this is an unlikely situation and I assume if you do better calculations of where to place your orders it becomes even more unlikely

    support/resistance in YM

good info on that tick indicator I will definitly explore that more I begin trading at around 12:30 or so when I get home from school. By then, I can find some intraday support and resistance levels, whether it be a trendline or normal congestion. I then wait till it aproaches say a...

wow great insight i will definitly explore this more. I guess the one catch with a system like this is that your profit must be enought to offset the opposite trade - but if you chose the right levels it shouldnt be too dificult

    support/resistance in YM

Hello all. I've recently started trading the YM on an intraday basis. I've been using a small position size (1 contract) to limit my losses while trying to get a feel for the way the index trades. Right now I am mildly profitable. The main strategy I have been employing has been trying...

    Myspace Bubble?

not much considering the vastness (word?) of the corporation. Just think of all the different businesses News corp owns. If one fails, surely the company will be fine. Also I believe that Murdoch will use Myspace as a way of distributing its many media products. Myspace its an extra...

S&P just put in other short term bottom on May 11

Well said. How can someone claim we are oversold after one down day? In fact, according to my stochastics, we are still indeed overbought! Still much more room on the downside. Maybe the s&P won't go as low as say the dow, but I believe it will break 1300

I have a 21 inch (i think its 21 at least) and its a big improvement over traditional monitors. It just seems like a more natural way to view things.

just because it is in your name doesn't mean you can trade it; all it means is that you are entitled to the money held in the account and the profits from the account.

to the best of my knowledge, you need to be 18. However, I guess its possible that I am wrong but I have always been taught that you need to be 18 to trade. Especially if you are trading someone elses money (i.e at a firm like Knight). Obviously there are easy ways around it such as trading...

that is not true at all. My father works for the NASD. You need to be 18 to make a transaction in any U.S equity market
