one manhattan LLC offered me 250k buying power with 5k down. they also said i could trade their money with no deposit down, and my take would be 22% of my trading profits. 22% would'nt work for me, tho. if they can come up to 50% i'll take it, and also trade my other account.

There is one called Avidus, think they are connected to Genesis. I'm taking a look at them.

Avidus offered me 0.004 in commission, 10-1 leverage, a $100mth charge plus/minues ECN's. Problem is I never heard of them before. Can anyone here shine some light on Avidus?

Don't know the guy's name. But it was an eye opener for me. NYSE probably has several floor traders and specialists over 60 years old. They are the foundation and cornerstone, and they will be there so long as they make money.
