There's also a <i>lovely</i> bug that sets turns off the trigger outside RTH flag no matter how you submit. It was an earlier bug that I noticed again this morning with 872 and 871. I'm going to do some more testing with different TWS versions tonight and see if I can figure out when it broke...

Oh joy -- I noticed today that the stop triggering outside of RTH bug which they fixed in 868 or so is now back and exists in 870, 871 and 872. I guess my orders that need to trigger outside of RTH will be going to other brokers. Thanks again IB for all the forced upgrades -- I feel secure...

Tried to edit -- too late. I actually was doing pit trading with tradestation using their 1997 RJ O'Brien platform (RJ has a newer version but TS doesn't support it). I've cut back on the pits now that almost everything is electronic, but I generally do the stuff you either can't do...

You're missing the point. The SEC exists solely to further the interests of wall street brokers by making it look as if there's a watchdog agency that actually protects them. If C2 provides a potential method of leveling the playing field for the small guys then the SEC will shut them down...

Sal...I'd question that. I agree a short disconnection should not cause a new challenge. But someone logging into the same account from a completely different IP address...that seems like a big red flag. If both machines are behind the same router they'd both appear to be the same IP...

I just got my first prompt using the web version of TWS. It worked fine. A question for IB or anyone -- will I get this prompt after a disconnect from the server (for example if my ISP drops the connection for say 30 seconds) or only if TWS is closed? SSB
