Man you pretty much nailed it, just get long towards the close of the equity markets. I know its earnings season, but I just try and ignore it. I give myself a 30 point stop. The real discipline for this is I have to get up at 3:30 am cst and start looking for an exit.

Their is a time to be in fixed and their is a time to be in equities. With the recent terrorist events CDS are a great place to park cash. If equities crumble, and wall street starts to hate them again like the did in late 2003 right at the bottom, sure buy some good companies.

Did you know that when you purchase them that the rate is fixed at the time of purchace.

I always try and view things from a positive perspective. But with a rising dollar and rising rates, and rising oil, companies profits will get pinched. Lets listen as companies give guidance in the coming weeks. GE today might shed some light.

Ok our first reading is .47 very low thats climatic and could possible signal a top is near. Lets see if it rises from their my guess is it will rise out of that climatic range as the markets drift lower from their gap open.

If I were to close my ears and just use my eyes, this chart would be telling me the Dow is going lower. ADX rising up from under 20 would indicate a new short term trend. What is a bigger concern is the weekly. If earnings this quarter are good and companies can maintain or raise the guidance...
