    The End of the SEC?

Flyingtiger, was that fine you mentioned $4,000,000 for the 36 grand in 1099 money? You put 4mm in there, and I didn't know if it was a typo. If that's 4mm, that's absolutely shocking!  Is it because the 1099 income wasn't disclosed as outside business activity on the U-4?

    LoL @ Yahoo! Finance Frontpage

Yes, I got a laugh about the 1% revised GDP number bunched in there with all of the other doom and gloom links. I also hope your dream doesn't come true. We could sell off more this week, and I can't stomach a 1,000 point or more drop in the DJIA.

    LEAPS question

Thanks! I ordered the book by Roth, and will post a review on it. Does anyone here manage OPM using LEAPS? Most of my Clients are long-term, and I'm looking over several strategies at the moment. Could use some feedback, and ideas/opinions. Thanks!:)

    Wall St. Job Market Crumbling

Could very well happen. Had dinner with a friend from Merrill recently (he actually stayed there. I wend Independent years ago), he said "Merill isn't done with the write downs." I hinted around about a bottom in MER sometime in the future? and he shook his head. Sounds like they'll bleed some more.

Bernanke has a golden opportunity to relieve the pressure off the consumer tomorrow

I agree. A 50bp tightening is what we need. That would kick oil in the nuts a little, and give my Clients with long positions the movement we need! Badly!:) Good example: I was up 23% in QLD, and now am back down to around +6.3% Something's gotta give soon...

    LEAPS question

I'm looking for a good book (or books) on LEAPS strategies, and education. Any recommendations are appreciated! A DVD series with actual instructors, examples outcomes, etc., would be even better! Thanks guys:)
