Lumber is starting to look interesting

Still strong and still very thin.....I would wait for a signal that rally running out of Gas. Perhaps correlation to copper or stocks? Close below today's lows?

What's your view on natural gas long term?

If we close above 1.910 today could signal additional short covering/ fresh longs to 2.03/2.23. The blue square ALGO which appeared yesterday after the close "usually" gets some continuation to it......

Watch out for the summer flood in China,it can be bad

The last I have on that is: China is the world's largest producer of rice, and the crop makes up a little less than half of the country's total grain output. China accounts for 30% of all world rice production. In a given year total rice output came from four different crops.

Watch out for the summer flood in China,it can be bad

@JSOP you are correct. I just feel that corn has the most potential out of the grain complex. China big buyer/consumer of corn NOT a big producer. Just for fun, might be good to look at a rice chart....wow!!

Watch out for the summer flood in China,it can be bad

My guess is that corn could benefit from it as it is the most "oppressed one" so far due to COVID from the grain complex.... some weekly levels to watch for:

What's your view on natural gas long term?

From my colleague Mark O'Brien: According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, “rising demand heading into winter, combined with reduced production, will cause upward price pressures.” They expect prices to rise from an average of $1.75 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) in...

Lumber is starting to look interesting

Very thin market...from my colleague, John Thorpe who worked on the CBOT floor when there was still a trading floor! 7 to 10 dollar gaps are common place. $770 to $1100 If you are trading the lumber , don’t count on your stops to provide much protection, if any. I would recommend Deep...
