Jack Schwager discusses FundSeeder, a free platform to find undiscovered worldwide trading talent

Another alternative, take 1k and go to roulette , bet all of it in red or black, if you win, bet all the money (2k) in red or black again, if you are lucky and win for consecutive 10 times, congratulations., you are millionaire. This is more fun and faster than aiming 50% return per annual.

Karen the Supertrader - TastyTrade Hybrid Experiment

I don't think this is the "real pain" yet for your strategy. The change in the volatility in the past few days is not consider high from history perspective, you WILL SURVIVE this time and I am SURE you will come back to this board with claim of "recovery" from your daily small wins in the next...

Never disagree. Options selling is only ONE of many trading tools and NOT an edge by itself. You need to use the tools in different situations (long/short options, directional bet on future, buy or short stock, bond and etc) to explore the inefficiency or extreme of the market ( high/low...

Karen the Supertrader - TastyTrade Hybrid Experiment

I don't think one year is enough for you to find out the flaw of this strategy. I know a guy that have a similar strategy as you - targeting approximate 0.25 to 0.5 % gain daily with the max drawdown down of 15% <in his so called one single black swan event) , and he believes he will...

Karen the Supertrader - TastyTrade Hybrid Experiment

This post remind me Howard. The strategy will appear works for most of the time and will attract some amateur traders (in reality it is only a position with HIGH risk LOW reward, win small most of the time with ridiculous risk) , until one day when s*** hit the fan and the thread close.

What's the single thing you've done that's improved your results?

Using Quantitative Approch. Stop looking at chart (aka tea leaf reading) or BS TA. Btw, no day trading, this only make your brooker (or even worst, the bucket shop) rich and you stand no chance after the commissions and slippage.

Probably the best Intraday strategy for Index Futures & Options

20% a month, 240% a year? I never see anything near this kind of performance even among the smartest traders in the street. Occasionally you find a few of them that claim to have this type of performance, but none of em last long, they all gone in long term.

Why hedge funds are so attractive to investors?

The fact is those actively trade doesn't mean they will bring back higher return, indeed, it is always the other way around.

    Three Sources of Edge

I congratulate those that can trade profitable by accurately predict the market (up, down or sideway). I just say it is impossible from the practical point especially in the long term at least from my knowledge gained from institutional or as a private traders. I never see (I may be wrong) any...

    Institutional Trader Tactics

Those are OP people money and it will be their least concern. The only thing they have to concern is they have accumulated enough saving from the big bonus and fat salary at that time (they will get fired) . I don't think retail trader have this luxury when they trade their own money. Note...

Best way to trade this setup

Are you include commission and slippage in your calculation? How about assignment? What is your "tail risk" if SPY tanked by 10% and are you worst than buy and hold? Are you underperform buy and hold in bear market? Are you collect the same amount of dividend as buy and hold? PM me in...
