sinewave - on the seminars you're going to... if it's a john bollinger, get there 15-30 minutes before the seminar is set to start. if it's a tony oz, you'll want 10-15 minutes before. if it's someone lesser known, you can show up on time. maybe some of the other speakers can comment...

babak - just wanted to reply for why i asked RE: headers.. oftentimes, a spammer or phisher will use a fake "from" line - and while part of the headers can be forged, there's an important part that can't be. i received them forged 'from' etrade and citibank...despite not having accounts...

you're absolutely correct about the jobs number, and the unemployed people disappearing... most politicians, unfortunately, have supported (or at least refused to stop) the jobs exodus...and the illegal (immigrant) importing of jobs, except for show.

stocks under $5 are most definitely shortable, IF: -> you do it on an uptick (for most stocks, NOT all). -> your broker and clearinghouse can locate shares. -> your broker and clearinghouse doesn't mind taking risk... penson and csc (?) do not allow shorting under $5... but others most...
