The NY Giants have their parade beginning at 11 AM EST. May see another light volume day at least on the NYSE. Not surprising to us, yesterday was the lightest volume day of the year so far. ADD: Now hearing yesterday was the lowest volume on CME in 10 years. Wow.

Was just looking at possible trades as I was posting these, and while I was here DX went straight down and CL went straight up about $400 in about 3 minutes. Oh, well. Good thing I get that stipend from Barron to post here or I'd be broke. :)

Yeah I was thinking that too. ADD: So tired this morning my mind is moving like 15 mph to the market's 75 mph. Take a break here in a minute.

Maybe we'll get a general market mini rally for a few minutes at the open from people calling their brokers with new money to add. And then fade. This is the indices.

If DX sells off we may get some upward movement. Looks like there's some resistance around 79.600.
