My prediction calls for 2 % on the high print. 5585. But the path there may be tricky... I just figure that if we do hit 5585 they may just squeeze it another 15 points while they're at it.

Big picture, SPX is back above the monthly Open here. Leaving a huge wick behind. Definitely bit of an outlier move so far this week, but we have had like 50 or so that's even bigger on the week since 2005. So, nothing we haven't seen before. :)

5600 would be the ultimate 'what the fuck is going on' print into the Close. Tomorrow is monthly op-ex.

I did a 'temperature read' at 13:15 which I posted elsewhere at the time: ES currently up bigly at 13:15 with the prior day being green. 67 % of the sample (85 days) saw new highs by the Close. Only 5 % saw new lows. 65 % of the sample saw new highs in the last 2 hours. 39 % in the last 30...

This type of day usually tops out late in the day. I don't think this 'double tops'.

Need to get out of this range soon. If not it's likely a choppy late session like yesterday that doesn't really go anywhere... Still fancy 5580 if we get moving.

I stand corrected. ES 2 % is 5585. 5580 for conservative measures. :) Until someone sells this, it's one sweet and beautiful up trend day. With ES 2 % at 5585, I honestly don't see why it can't go as high as 5600 today.

This revovery probably caught a ton of players by surprise. Add in a bit of FOMO from fund managers who missed it and CTAs probably switching long and this move is perfectly rational. :)

ES still looking healthy for a pop to me, but NQ weakness is a concern here. Then again, I'm no expert on that one. I know it can tend to overshoot and look pretty weak just before it reverses hard on you... ES should close above 70 today.

Well, I got played today. Took a ton of small losses and scratches so far. I don't trust the bull case until we rip out new highs. Until then, this is a range bound mess. Curious if the 'promised' 1 % day can still come, though.

LOL. We recently saw that this market can be brought down. Looks like another V in play for today, though.
