I am totally amazed how many successful traders are on this board. The strange thing is the names keep changing except for a few. I guess they leave after couple of months and more successful traders come on board.

I can see the logic of that allright. One more question. What kind of order do you use to enter? I would think market orders could be dangerous and limit orders stand a good chance of not getting filled.

Spyder What do you do about stops? According to your snippet you would have went short like I did only to have it reverse on you immediately. Did you just hit a market BUY when it turned on you? edit: never mind. I see I was looking at the wrong lines. The blue lines were your entry.

If your only going to make 5-15 trades a month what in the world difference does it make what your entry platform is?

This is one point I kind of agree with you on. I only take what I consider the best trades and hopefully will gradually increase contracts rather than try to catch all the turns. I find it emotionally exhausting to be in all the time.

I sim traded the event. I set a bracket and when the announcement came it dipped down for a nanosecond and put me in short then turned around and shot up and went right through my long limit order without filling it and I got bad slippage on my stop for the short. This is not that uncommon, I think.

Legalizing drugs would create a few problems but: it would solve a hell of lot more than it creates.

My point is that there is no one capable of discussing SCT other than Jack and you cannot get any other answers out of him than what he has posted in the past so why bother. Name calling doesnt solve anything either.

You gotta be kidding. Nothings changed since Ive been on the board and as as far as I can see its been going on for several years. This exchange between Jack and others repeats ad nauseaum and nothing ever gets resolved. There is a serious attempt to decipher his teachings going on in Spyders...

Where does Spyder say the SCT works on any instument? I know he says that FTT's work on any instrument but I have not seen the other comment.

The ignore/complain function doesnt do much good when someone can be back on the board in five minutes with a different alias.

90% of people who attempt to trade will never even master a simple bear flag, which have been around forever. Why would it be any different for this or any other method?

My own criteria is $2500 for each contract traded. You can do it for as little as $500 per but I think this is foolish. I plan to add one contract each time $2500 is added to my account. After a year of trading I feel comfortable with this.

Read autobiographies of those who survived the Nazi concentration camps. After reading several of those, the problems I run into seem laughable.
