I will give the market around 5-10 minutes before shorting providing conditions remain the same.

We have opened this morning very bearish and i am contemplating a short but will wait for the market to trade higher into the gap first.

Wow might have got out of that trade a little to early but then again no plan can account for exogenous events like we just had now. I am 1.5 bars away from a long signal which is too close to the close of the US session for my liking so this will be me for today.

Will target 206.37 as this is counter trend but will monitor as it progresses.

Taking a quick long here @ 205.87

I am now out of the position from yesterday. We may make new lows with this negative sentiment but I doubt it and am calling this move as done. 204.63 exit price so $2.13 on that trade but this is not part of the journal trade as it was not logged in real time.

Just wanted to add I am short term bearish on SPY but today I also noted some interesting divergence on higher timeframes that my be setting up for a bullish bias. Lets see what happens at the open.

Thanks for the reply. I have more than enough to start with and the margin requirements on ES are of know concern compared to account size. What I am trying to figure out is which is the best instrument to use as there are a lot of choices not just futures. Also if I am to trade my strategy...

Yes that's it I could up my account size but then this also means using a greater percentage of my net worth which I would prefer not to.
