Well, i happened again this week. SPCE closed at 18.55 yesterday and I had the 18.50 Calls written against it. The stock was not called away. Interesting.

Thank you, yes I know. I sold 5 Calls against the 600 shares this morning. I'm a little leery of keeping the stock, having heard the headwinds some of the oil related companies are facing.

In my mind I've been thinking of over writing, or unbalanced covered calls... Say, having 300 shares @ 15 and write 5 20 calls, so you're short by 200 shares. You've got time to react by either buying more shares if the underlying starts to move up, or take other action. Folly? Too dangerous...
