I know Timber Hill is the specialist, but I can't find a way to place an order through IB for currency options. Just currency futures options. Are cash Forex options available on IB?

Any clarifications coming from the IRS on whether cash Forex has to be marked-to-market (MTM) for those of us not opting out of IRC 988, and declaring a gain or loss as ordinary income this tax year?

Gold may be ok, but I don't like the volume I have been seeing on the mini-Silver contracts.

Yeah after about two hours I am up, but slowly loading. I must find another broker by the end of the year. Unless it is an exchange problem or another 9.11, there is no excuse for completely losing two hours in a trading day. Especially without any compensation.

Yup, blank pages galore. Thank God there is no crisis in the market today, at least for me. I tried TWS, beta TWS and web trader -- all the same thing. On web trader, it says IB Server error.

Bull. I cant get a portfolio, account information, make ANy trades, much less add symbols. The whole system is shot. If you have limited functionality, feel lucky.

Can't seem to find the order on the pull down menus or on the tickets? Not even listed on the type of order page. Jeeze, even Fidelity offers this.
