One fill short DOW for a small win Good weekend to all

Good question...I've had the same problem twice recently & I thought it was just my local post office being the problem. An "overnight" delivery I paid more than $4 for took 4 days & a "2-day" priority took 3 days. When I asked if the 2-day was guaranteed she said no.

No fills yesterday... Today used .3 for sells & 1.2 for buys for one fill short WMT for a small win (out waaaaay too soon)

Can you elaborate a little please ??? So someone bid & won with your ID ??? How did they try to pay ??? Ebay emailed you about it when they found out ??? Do you have a sellers account ?? Thank you.

Damn...yeah Ebay has major fraud problems. I have heard of people getting their bank of america accounts wiped out via ebay/paypal. I have bought things on ebay & I have a sellers account so I am a little worried. I think I closed my paypal account as they were annoying me. Did you close...

Canceled a few on news....used 1.2 for buys & .3 for sells...no fills

No fills again...used .4 for buys & .7 for sells...missed PFE & HD by a penny & missed T by 2 cents. "Woulda" been good.... I too prefer more of a "business as usual" level of volatility for this strategy.

Same here, no fills When I feel like it is more of a gamble than an edge, I am overly conservative.... .3 for sells & 1.2 for buys...plus I canceled a few on news If I get fills on a day when I am not confident in the strategy, I tend to exit too quickly because I feel like it is a 50/50...

Here is another thing...when you look at the price items supposedly sold for, that info. is not really valid IMO unless the winner actually PAID....which, in the case of ebay motors, I think a lot of the winners do not pay :mad:

I entered orders using envelopes of .4 for buys & .9 for sells. I adjusted some prices & sizes, then ended up canceling all my orders at about 9:27...blame it on Monday morning. Looks like I "woulda" got 1 fill long DOW...oh well

Good question...unless whatever you're selling you got for free or close to it, seems like you can not make much. They do allow a "reserve" amount which is hidden by the seller, so if no one bids higher than the reserve amount, you do not have to sell your item. But then you still get hit...

LOL...I think he is referring to the 50 shares on NBR. Sometimes I get those "odd" lots on ARCA & INET...kind of annoying.

No fills today I used conservative envelopes of .4 for buys & .9 for sells & I also lowered size on some stocks. Looks like if you had the nerve to short below yesterdays close you might do OK. Good weekend to all
