Thanks, I appreciate the observation. I believe consistency comes with being disciplined with every trade: entry decision, sizing, exit decision. I need to collect enough trades on each strategy to decide what an optimal sizing should be. Before that, it is much better to play it safe...

16% per day average? What an outrageous claim! Yes you can make 16% todayand lose 15% tomorrow. But to present 16% as an attainable daily target from an old-timer...something does not add up!

Three years to define and code a trend? I think most of that was from you not having a clear picture of what you call a trend. It is not the programmer's fault.

If a computer program cannot recognise it, then it is not there! What does a human use to detect the trend? price/time data. That is exactly what could be programmed into a computer.
