blanca, my sense is your strategy would not work on index futures now but would have in the 80's. Perhaps fx is this rudimentary but I'd be surprised. If it is working then good for you, stick with it.

Vega nailed it. The other part is it can be quite expensive to continuously make transactions to maintain dn status. It is more difficult than it looks.
