Andy, I am also a scalper and can tell you that unless you are recording incoming ticks for replay or running strategy backtesting, you should be fine. It also helps to set your entry charts (smaller timeframes) to a very low lookback period, say 3 to 5 days, and leave the longer lookback...

jon, What exactly are you looking for? Market Analyzer in Ninja can program audible alerts for most conditions that you input. Easy to use and works like a charm.

You should learn to use market analyzer. I use it all the time for the very conditions you describe.

My guess is that it is a sync issue with your local PC clock. Your best bet would be to post the question on the Ninja Trader Support Forums for a faster, more comprehensive response to your question.
