:D I am going to take a wild guess - your chart shows a little bit different picture (due to data provider differences).

    Iterative Refinement

:D After some serious struggling, sprinkled with a few emotional roller coasters now and then, I am seeing that everything that has been stated in this and previous journal seems to reflect the reality with remarkable consistency. So, I am hoping the 'long sidetrip' will be really worth it.

With respect to my question: Would I be moving in the right direction if I tried to evaluate the bars before 11:05 FTT and 13:05 FTT (both eob) in terms of dominos (sequences) and "what must come next"? Thank you.

:D No, I did not. But I will try now. Thank you.

Spydertrader, if you'd be so kind. I am having trouble figuring out what signal for change these two bars represent: 11:05 eob - an FTT of the pink down traverse, 13:05 eob - an FTT of the second blue up traverse

I can't help but agree with you that being a skeptic is essential for survival. What you see, what you hear - nothing is what it seems. You can't trust your five senses, only the little voice inside you most people don't even hear - listen to that. Trust yourself.

To be more clear, I was looking to see what change signals those FTT represented when they were not Jokari Window change signals. Excluding those I was familiar with - Formation/Lateral FBO's and Peak Volume, I arrived at the conclusion, by process of elimination, that since remainder of FTT's...

Pennant/Formation/Lateral Movement BO on increased volume with failure to show more increased volume on the next bar represents a change signal. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2016013#post2016013 I went through a numerous charts (where Spydertrader annotated FTT's)...

I don't understand what you mean. Could you elaborate a little bit. I see 5 traverses and one fanned out channel. EDIT: This is not a properly annotated chart as it lacks gaussians and other annotations, as well as accelerated traverses.

1st arrow - peak volume 2nd arrow - Jokari window EDIT: Sorry, I missed the first green arrow. Correction: 1st green arrow: Jokari Window 2nd teal arrow : peak volume 3rd black arrrow: Jokari Window

Why does no one here give detailed trading advice?

Depending on how keen your powers of observation are, you may or may not have noticed that he is simply screwing with you. The past chat room transcripts are stored on this website. I personally found them helpful. They may or may not be considered to be a part of due diligence depending on...

He is not the only one, but God bless him for doing it more regularly than others. :D That is what's known as a question 'loaded' with presupposition. On a more serious note: speaking only for myself, I have found through my own personal experience, that without an ability to see a change...

This particular lateral formation represents change itself. The traverse is completed with 1250 eob. And therefore there's no need to fan. The down traverse you have drawn is correct. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1664781#post1664781

    Iterative Refinement

You have trends overlapping on pt.'s 2 and 3. Violation of basic market tenets. Of course this particular lateral formation represents change itself. And therefore there's no need to fan. Then your down traverse in your picture becomes valid. :) Thanks, I just solved the riddle that...

    Why wouldn't you fan here?

    Iterative Refinement

Because 1245 eob is continuation (Jokari Window) and 1255 eob increasing red volume results from lateral formation BO and has no more increased red volume on the following bar.

    Iterative Refinement

1305 eob IBGS Jokari Window change confirms fanned out pt3 up traverse and ends it. After forming a SYM there's RTL BO on increased volume, with more increased volume after SYM break to confirm that the trend has changed.

    Iterative Refinement

Here's another example of what wasn't that. I am curious - those who do trade end of bar, do these situations result in a loss usually? In this particular case the lateral formation and increased black volume BO make it even more complicated IMO, because only +PRV on 1335 eob says no pt3 down...
