    Pats - n - Bears?

There's no way the game next week between...now you're going to hear this 3 million times this week..."The oldest rivalry in Football!!!"...could live up to the hype the media is going to give it.

    Pats - n - Bears?

28-0 game over. I'm stunned at how good the Bears look...or is it how bad the Seagulls ( ) look...it's jus' too dang cold fer dem Seabirds...

    Pats - n - Bears?

Deductive reason my friend... What's the only team awaiting the winner of the Bears/Seahawk game?

    Pats - n - Bears?

I'm going on record... We'll beat da Bears, but I don't think we'll beat the Seahawks, just don't have a good feeling about it...

    Determining Limits On Spreads

Really?! Well then, I learned something today. I'm surprised that an order has to be placed in nickel increments, but the prices traded do not...wait a minute, you sure 'bout dat?

    Determining Limits On Spreads

Thank you, somebody gets what I'm talking about. I will try that. Just to be clear on the specific order I placed. I placed an order to: Buy the $SPX.X Jan 14 1250 Puts Sell the $SPX.X Jan 14 1260 Puts I specified a net credit of .27 cents At that time the "last" price...

    Determining Limits On Spreads

I had plenty of money to cover the margin req. For example: Let's say the last price on the Jan 14 1260 put was .50, and the last price on the Jan 14 1250 was .25. The spread is .25. I'd submit an order with a limit of .20, and wouldn't get filled.

    Determining Limits On Spreads

Well, after looking things over, that only works on the front month, and not by much. All of the following months, fuggettaboutit... I guess I'll have to call bullshit on what I was told, and use smaller limits.

    Determining Limits On Spreads

The past two days I placed several orders for simple S&P vertical bull put spreads and the orders were canceled. I called up tonight and was told my credit limits were too high. I've always used the "last" price posted to determine which options to pick and the credit limit. I was told to use...

Can't Get Back On The Horse

Well, I followed your advice, on Tuesday I opened a simple position, a vertical put out of the money. It was a -5 $SPX.X Dec 23 1235p/+5 $SPX.X Dec 23 1225p, .35 credit spread, $157.51 profit...what I used to call a "base hit". It felt pretty good. I think even though I have some prior...

Can't Get Back On The Horse

I stopped trading options a few years back. For a little over a year after retirement I supported myself trading them. Mostly Iron Condors, or one sided vertical spreads. I stopped for several reasons...but the biggest one was that it was too mentally draining, I had to take a break. Now...

    "Queremos Criar Pollos"

Guess what is being brought up in the city of Milwaukee, In The City!!!... They want to make it legal to raise chickens in your back yard, in your back yard. This is a city with most lots 45 feet wide, city living... Now isn't that a civilized way to live in a CITY? Gee, I wonder what...

    Class Warfare Hypocrisy

The right loves to accuse the left of promoting class warfare. "Tax the rich, they're the bad guys, they can afford more taxes, those greedy bastards, etc." But...(you knew there'd be a but), all I here from the right is "government workers bad, teachers bad, Unions bad, etc...overpaid, to...

I smile when people think that Vai is just a shredder. While he can shred like a ...., he's also very old school when he chooses. One of my all time faves.

...don't know if it's been mentioned, but Dickey Betts' solo in The Fillmore version of "Stormy Monday" might be the best blues solo I've ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-mx63tN7Qg It's hard to believe they were all in their early twenty's. That performance has a maturity FAR...

If the 4 Slain Cops Would've Been Black...

Do you think the moron would have been in front of a camera reading his teleprompters? Silence from the White House. But just let one unknown black professor refuse to ID himself to the Police... Ah fuck it. A society that makes nothing of law enforcement being killed...but just let...
