Time to crash the bond market

Which version of the Dow Jones News are you using? I'm subscribed to the commodities basic package only and they mention this the first time 3:14. When I saw the slide I looked for some news, but could not find any. ET is a good source ... Many Thanks Bernd Kuerbs

What programs are you using to compile your JOURNAL ??

Did anyone try to use Microsofts Onenote 2003 to keep a Journal? The only drawback I see, it does not offer tables like Word does. They can be included as pictures of course. Regards Bernd Kuerbs

Eurodollar Futures (GE)--anyone else trading these?

The Globex page says: Point description: 1 Point = 0.01 = 25$. See http://www.cme.com/trading/prd/contract_spec_ED3087.html This looks pretty wide. regards Bernd Kuerbs

Eurodollar Futures (GE)--anyone else trading these?

You have to remember that IB provides a snapshot only (though a very good one). It easily misses spikes. Biggest one I have seen till now were eleven ticks in the Bund. regards Bernd Kuerbs

One way to minimize problems with the TWS API is to use communication via sockets instead of using the API. Makes you independent from changes in the API; you are still exposed to changes in the functionality of the TWS. Regards Bernd Kuerbs

Ensign why do some pro's like it?

The discussion of the three data feeds centers upon Globex data. There is one aspect missing: the IB data feed provides snapshots, this means some short-lived spikes may be missing. I have seen 11-tick spikes in the German Bund (Eurex) not showing up in the IB feed. These happened during...

I cannot help you re this feature, since I never used it: I use NeoTicker realtime with eSignal as datafeed and I'm satisfied. Regards Bernd Kuerbs

    Neoticker

This is a very general question. I suggest you have a look at their forum (www.tickquest.com) and subscribe to the Yahoo NeoTicker group. Just remember people will usually write in these forums when they have problems, no one writes messages saying "All went fine today, no problems at all"...

I can't answer your questions, but did you ever have a look at InteractiveBrokers and their unbundled fee plan? See attached screenshot: up to 250 round-turns per month you will pay 3,58€ per round-turn. Up to 500 round-turns per month you will pay 3,40€ per round-turn. There is no...

    EurexUS, will it work?

No, Eurex offers a Stop Market Order, no Stop Limit order. Example: You went long the FDAX at 3830 and want to exit, if it drops below 3825. You enter a Stop Market Order with a trigger price of 3825. When the FDAX trades at or below this price, your stop order will turn into a market order...

    EurexUS, will it work?

Eurex offers a native Stop market order, that is when your stop is triggered, it will enter the system as a market order. Have a nice weekend Bernd Kuerbs

    Testing variables

To illustrate my opinion about the differences (and commonalities) between the three areas, I want to use the example of pivot points. Do pivot points define a profitable trading system? The idea is to enter a short trade, when e.g. the first level of resistance has been reached. Vice versa...

    Durables weaker

How timely has the report been published by DJ Newswire? I'm asking because AFX Europe published it at 8:30:55, when the bond market already had started to react. Though it is difficult to say, when a report has really been released, some are just not published to the exact minute. And...
