    Also most mobile CPU's have Speedstep which lowers the speed and saves power when you're only using a few % of your CPU .... and when trading your internet connection is running full speed ..... wireless especially can suck up a lot of power ....

    Those are some good stats .... the large number of trades on only 10 stocks gives you a lot of flexibility to pick liquid stocks and scale up when you want to.

    That's what they say ... but to me it makes a huge difference, like night and day. If I sit down at an LCD at 60hz I can tell right away, and I change to 70hz.

    Try changing your refresh rate to around 70, 72, 75hz. Most people can't tell the difference on an LCD .... but if you do it will fix the flicker (too high it will start to look blurry). http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000558.htm

    The most practical metric for real trading will be the rate of capital growth vs. max drawdown from the top. Doesn't matter if you win huge 10% of the time or win small 90% of the time.

    The reason I implemented this .... sizing up to 500-1000k+ shares I was just not getting the same results. Many of the winners I only grabbed 100, 200, 500 shares. And of course, every loser was full size. It's a sneaky problem with limit orders. Having winning trades half the size of the losers...

    I send to BATS or NASDAQ depending on the stock .... it usually takes a couple minutes to accumulate 1-3k shares.
