What do you mean by I have so little money? All my portfolio is with IB, I just don't want to split out to put into other brokeage and wiring back and forth.

Exactly, for indices or etfs, I don't feel people need to day-trade option, futures already give the maximal leverage. For stocks, since single stock futures are not popular yet, people daytrade options for leverage. Let's say you trade within one hour, that gives you a huge time decay...
