Not many people are using Wealth-Lab?

But I like Wealth-Lab! Is there a way out without splitting $25,000 from my IB account? Or unless somebody can convince me that Fidelity is somehow better than IB in some areas?

What do you mean by I have so little money? All my portfolio is with IB, I just don't want to split out to put into other brokeage and wiring back and forth.

TradeStation asks for $5,000 for opening account...

Hi all, I really don't want to split $5,000 out from my existing accounts with IB to deposit to TradeStation. Not to say every time you wire here and wire there, they charge you fees. Having multiple accounts across different brokeages is horrible thing, at least for individual investor...

Not many people are using Wealth-Lab?

too bad. Fidelity asks for $25,000. I have that amount, but I don't want to split $25, 000 out from my existing accounts with IB. Managing many accounts across different brokeages is really troublesome. Any thoughts?

I haven't seen any discussions about this software. Strange. Arguably it is the best strategy exploration and back-testing software?

Any tips about day trading using IB?

I see -- you are assuming that in daytrading people use Market Orders, that's why it's only one click.

    Is option daytradable?

I have searched for Velez' free webinars for a while... I found on their website this: http://www.vcmtrading.com/resources/VCM_Online_Free_Seminar_Access_Instructions.htm I have to download and install a software in order to view the free seminars? That sounds weird?

FX vs. option on FX, what do you trade?

That's because leverage is huge and you are afraid of being wiped out entirely? I mean, it's very possible that you have the correct view, but the market is temporarily against you. If you have to stop loss and cut out there, then you lose greater and later opportunities, right? You mean...

    Is option daytradable?

Maybe sentiment is something best described as change in (future) implied volatilities? Why not futures on these etfs directly? I am not limited by the day-trade rule.

    Is option daytradable?

Exactly, for indices or etfs, I don't feel people need to day-trade option, futures already give the maximal leverage. For stocks, since single stock futures are not popular yet, people daytrade options for leverage. Let's say you trade within one hour, that gives you a huge time decay...

Good point. But it's hard to find continuously renewed comic contents, right? What if you get bored from repeating the same few comics many times? Any recommendation about sources? Thanks!

What podcasts do you listen to when you are driving?

Yep, thanks for the reminder. Let's take a non-car situation. There are so many occasions that you don't want to waste... how about waiting in a long line?

What podcasts do you listen to when you are driving?

Driving without keeping track of the market is boring... I think there are three approaches: (1) Car radio (2) Download podcasts/shows/talks/presentations to my MP3/WMV player (3) Bloomberg LiveTV streaming on my cell phone For (1), anybody knows a good radio talking about the markets...

Looking for a good mentor for option trading...

Thanks a lot Mark. Maybe I can understand this way - when we are investors with smaller fund, we are not that risk-averse, and we are more risk-taking. We aim at strategies that are a bit fast in terms of reward, etc. But when we have $1m in account, then we become risk-averse and begin to...
