Comcast Central FL IB problems only... not internet. ET stayed up and refreshed when IB was disconnecting. I counted 4 times minimum, 1 was about 3 min so I restarted TWS. Not complaining, stuff happens, just adding to this info thread. :cool:

Moral of the story... don't piss off the old guy and don't dis on IB just to dis on them. :D I've experienced the problem too. It's reported to IB and in the que so we're better off listening to OldTrader's original post (it helped me.) Then we can periodically check on the issue in new...

Ditto; I'm a noob, I still trade my IRA part time so WinItAll might say my post is worthless. :D I say go for your own retail account, get screen time, trade real money, but well preserved small amounts of real money. Do what you enjoy. :cool: Keep it simple, perhaps S/R and PA on one (1)...

I use IB with NinjaTrader for charting. Free version of Ninja btw With Ninja you must install it, then get the VWAP addon here: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/vb/local_links.php?catid=1&sort=N&pp=15&page=13 Works OK for me. :)

Out half 1603 Stop raised to 1599.5 on the rest

L NQ 1603 will add 1601.5 stop 1597.5; targ 1606+ edit: TOD play as well, so by 1:10 or so or :eek: edit again: buy triggered at 1601.25 IB was nice to me I guess.

I trade my IRA! No leverage other than ETF's etc... and can and do buy/sell ES futures. So... how does that fit in? After hours and Mondays are my usual hours as I work another job. I'm a total noob that has missed probably 98% of the run up from ES 666. Right now, mortgage etc... about...
