Another tenured stock that is running at an OK level of PRV and a decent technical setup is NFI. I have also found that shorts work better when the overall market is in a downcycle.......DUH. j

Yeah........ Its more like i look at past cycles of the stock and see if it matches with whats in my head for sequnces. If it passes the test, i add it to the universe.

Its avg vol is below 200k also.....

Is there a tool in Qcharts that will calulate the 50% retrace? I recall icarus618 always having the 50% marked out in his Esigal charts.

I washed on slxp as I did more "studying" last night and have to agree with the one day hold for shorts that spyder implements.Unless, of course it stays in a short rocket.

Although the market continues to gain altitude quickly, I did take a short in SLXP. Unusual volume is just on the ok side for me. .5UV at midday. See how it turns out given the adverse market conditions for shorts. First Day 2% stop would be around 13.90.

I have not been able to succesfully trade the ES even though that doesnt mean its not POSSIBLE. I know Spyder has been trading futures with profits in the ET chat room when I was there the few times. Not sct but still making money.

It looks to me that ET has deleted the reveiws for the broker Etrade. There were many unhappy customer reviews and instances of terrible negligence including fruadulance which was shown in the broker review. Can someone lead me to where the etrade reviews currently reside now? I couldnt find...
