    Stop giving money to Haiti!

I would venture a guess that the estimated loss figure of $1 billion is far too low. If their economy was worth $6 billion before, what's it worth now? And we must not forget to factor in the years/decades worth of medical costs and lost productivity among the permanently injured survivors.

    Addicted to Average Down?

Agreed ... it's important to recognize various degrees of the term "averaging down". For example, while I would never average down indescriminately, I've found a strategy for YM that allows 2 entries, with a hard stop for both. recognizing trends

    Chicago RE Market

This echoes what an experienced realtor friend of mine told me recently ... and she's actually helping another friend of mine who wants to buy NOW. If you're a 1st time buyer though, you should also consider the $8k credit which expires soon, plus the fact that rates will surely be higher in...

difference between tops and bottoms ?

I agree with RN. You've only been doing this 4 months, and for the past 4 months the market has been going straight up. Why would there even be a question as to why longs worked out better than shorts?

Will she drop all the way to the hourly TL today is the only question I have right now. I tend to doubt it, but if the fall continues, that line should be the extent of it ... at least for this afternoon.

Pop of +60.00 on GOOG news. I don't trade stocks but this looks quite tempting.
