If I could make one suggestion it would be to narrow your focus to one insturment and start all over. Pick one stock, ETF, or futures contract ... whatever, and watch nothing but that one thing day in and day out for a couple months or so. You learn the ins and outs of that one instrument like...

Actually it looks quite similar to yours.... just about hitting the TL now.

Not to get into a chart war here or anything, I just find it interesting to compare. I see breakouts of the major TL's (using only the outside tops paired with the Oct. '07 all time high). Ammo it looks like you're using log scale charts ... do you find those TL's accurate enough?

Or, another way of looking at the same chart .... I added the purple TL which starts at the high. To me this purple was a major TL which was broken and recently re-tested from the other side. Bullish breakout now at minor TL resis. on the far right. Respect. T

The slider is ok, but it was better before with the simple expand/condense arrows. The problem now is autoscale doesn't kick in like it should whenever price runs up or down off the screen. When you're watching multiple charts if you're not careful it can look like price is stalling when it's...

For DAV as requested ... Edit: I should add I may have found another bug ... it seems my TWS toolbar settings do not save properly. I keep losing the "(add) Chart" tool from the toolbar on each new login.

For the record, the charts popping up issues have seemingly been resolved, and there is a new vertical slider tool which is actually pretty cool. Thanks IB for at least fixing the bugs pretty quickly, but I still say you need to have fewer new TWS releases but test them way more thoroughly...

My mistake ... I was told yesterday the vertical tool was gone but the IB rep didn't mention that slider, and I didn't happen to see it. I'm back in v908 today so I'll check the slider out when I have a chance. Thanks.
