I'll be going into earnings with a put ratio using the November 3 expiry with a ratio of: -long 170 x 1 -short 165 x 2 I'm also long the 170/160 put spread in the regular November expiry. And patiently short NQ. Looking for results that the wolf was looking for. :)

It’s just a covered put on short stock from the assigned call. Nothing fancy. If it expires OTM he just writes another put. That’s how I interpret what he’s doing. 0% martingale.

I don’t think rolling puts is akin to martingale. No more capital is needed over and above the original position. It’s just a way to increase basis.

I just realized you want to sell an IC. My example is for buying an IC.

Anything that has a high IV relative to your expectations of future realized volatility. COST has already reported earnings but I find its IV still relatively high. I'm currently short the November 155 straddle. A 145/150/165/170 IC is currently -1.19@-1.15.
