Anybody in on the dry bulk shipping action? (DRYS)

Its a pretty textbook long setup to ride wave 5 up. I only use elliot wave on stocks when a chart looks picture perfect for it, and this one does. Entry at ~85 would have been good, but 90 isn't bad. Stop just under 80 and a target of ~120. Nice risk/reward setup.

You couldn't be more right JSS. Let the majority of traders think that a derivative of a derivative of price cannot be useful... more inefficiency for us  I find that if I want to jump counter-trend when a zone of mine is approached its an excellent way to "time" when to fade the...

Since I only watch RTH the D appears different to me than it does to you. I think this is why I almost solely trade "slant D's". However the signals are very similar- what looked like a triple on the 15 to you looked like a very nice slant to me. I had an amazing first half of the day...

Bracket MIT orders to close out sitting at 1984.75 and 2000.25. Otherwise I'll close at EOD.

Short NQ 2001.00 stop 2003.50. Last shot short at this for me... holding for new lows (1984 would be nice).

Looking to get short ~2002 with a small stop. Possible wedge going into resistance. Needs to hold 98.75 on this push down to stay valid. wedge pattern nixed.

Yeah, its anything but definite. Just trying to stay with the trend and picking targets just before expected support levels. I don't enjoy having those days where you look at the chart at EOD and say "all I had to do was get short with a small stop and I could have ridden this thing all the...

Yeah I know what you're saying. You can definitely camoflauge a bad trade by saying the R/R is good. Anyway, here is a trade where I use a larger stop because I consider it higher probability. Short 1995.25 stop 1998.25 target 1984.75 (maybe 1987... gotta see)

Thats why I use a tight stop. Since its not a higher probability but a good risk/reward. I caught almost 7 points before using a 1.5 point stop by recognizing when the support "cracked" and that if they reversed it, the trade was over. You don't need more than a small stop for that kind of...

Trying to catch another leg down here... Short NQ 1993.50 stop 1995.25 target 1985 We may not get followthrough on this crack since its lunchtime, but the R/R is right. That was capitulation volume on the 1-min right there... not liking this trade but holding. stopped out... oh well, it...

Rich Pawning Diamonds, Artwork; Cutting 'Jet' Time - Net Worth Shrinking

A guy worried that his wife will leave him because she can't buy as much and go on lavish vacations anymore? Parents worried their kids wont get invited to the "right" birthday parties? I can't generalize, but it sounds like many of these very wealthy New Yorkers live some of the most shallow...

I'm doing my analysis before 1AM today... way to go me :) Hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was gorgeous. Anyway, here goes- I think its likely the rally that has taken place over the past week is over. I was looking to get short at 2045.00 NQ but they missed my order by...

A drink to take the edge off...

If anything I'd try taking some ADD pills (aderall, dexatrin, etc.) and seeing how that works. A couple times when the going got really tough with final exams, they worked wonders in helping me focus. As far as a daily thing with your trading though, I don't know if its a good idea. It almost...

Now is Now, I think you could be a good addition to this thread if you wanted to "hook on" here. As far as authenticating your trading, I think the best thing you can do is post up a general game-plan you have ahead of time. Then when it comes time to make your move, you can make a realtime...

I want to see 2044-2047 on NQ to get short.... if we could wedge up to that level that would be awesome. I've had to exercise alot of patience to stay out of the market most of today because there haven't been a ton of opportunities, so this would be nice. 60-min RTH Div coming down on NQ...

Decent resistance at 2045-2047 on NQ and a little bit at 2040-2041. Other than that I don't have much of a game plan for the day... this markets run farther than I anticipated. I'll just be trading the divergences when they show up.

Larger timeframes (10+) all say go short... smaller timeframes (1,3,5) all say go long... what to do, what to do  Nothing is probably the best option, but a little gartley action at 2028.75 with a 1-point stop may be worth a shot... will update :)
