    Circle acquires Poloniex

It's funny you mentioned that, It's already starting to happen :D https://www.wired.com/story/why-a-tiny-kentucky-firm-rules-a-corner-of-the-crypto-market/?utm_source=howtogeek&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter Surging Demand Late last year, as the world turned crypto-crazy, Kingdom and...

Carney calls for crackdown on cryptocurrency "mania" ...

Bitcoin was started without any approvals from any government. It's an open-source and decentralized project. If Europe wants to ban it or put regulations on it so be it. China has already made a lot of restrictions around bitcoin. Japan has done the opposite. In the US, there are many...

Nvidia vs Bitmain (bitcoin ASIC miner manufacturer)

I'm not a vendor, :D I have nothing to sell to anyone on ET. I've traded options on the side for many years, until I found bitcoin in 2013 and been holding cryptos since. In one of my posts, I explained that in real life, friends, family, coworkers, not a single person I mentioned it to over...

Nvidia vs Bitmain (bitcoin ASIC miner manufacturer)

There are still opportunities for mining other coins/projects. As an example, Raven coin was announced on twitter (no ico or premine) and I started mining it a few days later using AWS servers (spent about $150) got hundreds of thousands of coins (much more coins than bitcoin). Anyway, the...

The Quest to find 15 uncorrelated asset classes

Uncorrelated asset? Perhaps bitcoin. If you want to skip to the section, it's on 22nd minute of the video.

    Circle acquires Poloniex

Crypto folks think this is big news. Polo makes $2-3M per day in fees and still their support sucks, but quite possibly this may improve it  https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/02/26/goldman-sachs-backed-circle-acquires-poloniex-crypto-exchange/

Thomas Lee Presents The Economics of Cryptocurrencies | Upfront Summit 2018

I noticed that your previous post was on a thread discussing Ray Dalio who was mentioned on one of the emails from the Wealth Research Group (I subscribe to it, why not, it's free and Lior Gantz seems like a heck of a nice guy always trying to give advise to help people) from Lior's research...

Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies

YOu're a genius, sir. That analysis is something that has not occurred to anyone. I think you should sell everything, mortgage your properties to the maximum amount and start building a sizable short position on the CME bitcoin futures! You gonna make so much $$$$$$$$$$$!!

    Bitcoin Price Thread

Some things I read, just don't have all the details. Coinbase made changes (segwit?) to their bitcoin transactions and perhaps others, as well, that make the most transactions on the bitcoin blockchain. Spam attack costs money (bitcoin), so you can't do it forever.

    Bitcoin Price Thread

Is your system only for shorting? Bitcoin is very close to a double in less than 2 weeks. Pekelo's system at least signaled a bottom around 6000.

    Bitcoin Price Thread

Another off-topic, since this thread has been dead. All the screaming excitement when bitcoin was going down has disappeared. I wonder why  So, Pekelo, the thing about decentralized bitcoin (cryptos) is that you do not have to take my word or bitcoinfees.info (which could be having...

    Bitcoin Price Thread

Pekelo, per your concerns about the bitcoin transaction (miner fees) being too high. Maybe you've been keeping updated, or maybe not, but the fees are very low, currently, on bitcoin. I sent a high-priority ~$500 transaction for 15 US cents (6.2 satoshis per byte). A few days ago, I overrode my...

Anonymous trader buys $400 million in bitcoin

As much as this is a positive for bitcoin (to have a deep-pocketed buyer spending this much), the reddit threads I've seen explaining the scenario shows it's inconclusive whether this was indeed a straight buy. Most likely a whale (i.e. exchange) consolidating big sums of bitcoins to a multisig...

I think your previous calls were also good, but I don't think you made a trade on any of them as I did not see any details of your position.

Are you shorting bitcoin (futures), Pekelo?

    Bitcoin will Grow but slowly

It hit the resistance level of 10K already and I hope you had put your short position on the CME futures or CBOE futures or whichever platform it is you were planning to short bitcoin in. 5K profit target sounds good, and you'll make lots of $$$ Good luck :D

    Munger says Bitcoin is trash

I was going to politely ask to quote the post that shows the personal attack but decided it's not worth bothering. The name-calling has been from the naysayers, mostly, and like you said unless provoked but still remember it was rare.
