I'm using 75 tick charts to trade. Using 233 ticks chart for direction. Using 233 ticks chart to trade would be too slow.

This is a classical 1-2-3 chart pattern to go long at point 3: RSI is higher high, price at point 3 is higher than point 2 on the price chart.

This is what looks like after you put 4 RSIs (7 bar, 20 bar, 34 bars, 44 bars) look like.

Thanks for sharing for the chart. What TA indicators do you use for entry or exit? Any triggers do you use? Such as MA crossing etc?

TT, I used 777 (7 bar, 7 average, 7 period) for the standard Fisher. I did some backtesting last night, I added a 20 bar, 34 bar, 44 bar Fisher RSI to the chart. It appears to me when the 7 bar passed the 20/34/44 bar Fishers, it was a buy/cover. Otherwise, stay in the short position (as of...

Thanks. I'm putting it behind already and started to think the quick scalping strategy. I change the leverage a lot depends on the situtations and the time of the day. For quick scalping, I use 10 to 20 contracts for 0.3 to one point quick scaling out around the 10:00-10:30 AM quick dip and...

From 2:30 to 3:00 PM, the 1-2-3 pattern repeated again. Then it started to make the real move for 5-6 points along with the 20 and 34 EMA uptrend channel. Every Friday afternoon after 3:00 PM, ER2 rallies. This pattern has been repeated for over 5 weeks.

Around 1:00 PM, ER2 dropped at exact 38.2% retracement measured from the recent high (691.2) and recent low (672.3) and started to creep up. at 684.6 or S2. Dip at step 2, re-test the bottom, the bottom holds (Step 3), the train leaves at 685.

Topped around 11:30 AM around 690.3 (step 1), dips one point at 689 (step 2), breaks the uptrend channel, then starts to creep back up again to step (3), failed to pass the top, RSI is lower low, now the mother of all shorts start to jump in:

Around 11:03 ER2 is bottomed, it started to creep up (step1), dip after a point gain, dip at step 2, retest previous bottom, the bottomed holded at 11:13, and RSI didn't go lower, moves to step 3 - the train is leaving.

Here are Friday's major moves, each move generates 3-4 points. ER2 topped around 10:33 AM at 691.2, - step1, started to fall to 38.2% (689.7) that's step2, then it moveed up to step ), failed to top the previous high at step 1. The downtrend starts (step 3), RSI is lower low. This is where...

Another observation on trading ER2 (or any indexes or stocks in general), you never miss a train if it wants to leave long and far away. You always have a second chance to get in - either long or short. ER2 always performs 1-2-3 check on almost every major trend, up or down. If it is on the...

Opposite is true to go long. If regular RSI goes across the Fisher RSI and stays below Fisher RSI, that's a buy and hold, sells when the regular RSI touches the Fisher RSI again:

    The ER2 Trading Journal

When regular RSI crossed Fisher RSI, this can act as the buy/sell entry points, when ER2 is in downtrend, regular RSI stays above Fisher RSI, a good and safe short entry is when the regular RSI crosses and drops below Fisher RSI. Again, using Friday's ER2 chart, regualar RSI is the green line...

I started to play inverted Fisher RSI transformation indcator last week, this TA indicator worked very well so far, if the index is extremely bearish or downtrend, RSI stays at the bottom (hooking), if the index is extremely bullish or uptrend, RSI stays at the top (hooking). Compare it with...

Talking about risk/reward and scalping, I had a nightmare last Monday on a software failure. I'm not sure how many of you use TradeMaven to trade. Trademaven went down last Monday morning right after I bought 20 contracts (try to scale out 0.50). I also had 10 more limit buy orders in the...

Definitely making nice swings big daily. Risk/reward wise, one point change in ER2 is equalivent to 20 points change in YM, these days, this ER2 makes 15-20 points swings daily, this is equal to 300 to 400 points change on YM. Lot of opportunities to make or lose $$. Besides, save...
