Wow USD Cad

Long EUR 1.1862. I'd like to see a nice slow uptrend. The patient, badly injured, needs to be able to get out of bed and walk.

USDCad still down, now EUR and GBP starting to turn up. Gold as well. Not trading it after a horrendous day but there is some strength there, and it's a less than obvious trade now.

Stopped out of EUR. Just had it all wrong today.

Long eur 1.1880 after getting chopped up in long Usdcad from 1.29 area. Looks like Trump lit the place on fire.

Leaving it all alone for awhile. Looking to see if Euro will retest the 1.19 level or just stay triangulated. Also, they say never sell a dull market short as it applies to equities. We have the opposite right now. Way too exciting. But the volatility is good as it relates to currencies.

Flat now. Got most of Cad down move, some of Aussie, some of EUR. Tried to take usdjpy long at 1.0923 ended up scratching trade as it's waiting for Trump announcement. And I don't like trading in front of announcements, having learned the hard way. It can look like the best setup and just fall...

USDCad long grinding consolidation below 1.29. Looks like it's finally going to break.

If you're thinking about anything more than a scalp, I'd be very careful going short USD here. It seemed obvious that a short term bottom was in place against USD, and those traders are being trapped as I write this.

Ok just got stopped on Cad. Reversed long. Out of EUR, short AUD .7514.

Ok now we're cooking. This should be more than a day trade, though I'll cut back if we get a nice push. Euro resistance 1.1975 from last night.

1.2840 is the number to get through in Usdcad. So far so good all around. Still can't figure out USDJpy. Looks lower but won't break.

The risk off move that's been going on for a few weeks seems to have run it's course for now. Watching Gold, which seems to be holding. Just added to usdcad short. Short covering moves are usually pretty violent. Watching gbp which is stronger than EUR and holding.

Stopped out on that position. Reentered 1.1923 long, 1.0866 short usdcad. That looked like some sort of a bottom. For now. Tape just ground to a halt.

Looks like some dollar longs are about to get kicked in the teeth. Or perhaps yours truly taking the other side. . .
