    interesting IQ test...different

OK Max, the joke is on me...I just had the wrong number typed and didn't look to see what I did. Here is the post in which I said I couldn't get #5....you will see that I was actually referring to question number 6. Five I had. As I also had 9 and 22 which add up to the answer to #5...

As usual, Max and I are on the same exact page . :D The hint on #5 seems not very subtle, but it still isn't clicking for me. Thanks anyway but I was finished...answers obtained with hints can't (shouldn't?) count. We can share as soon as MrSubliminal has a chance to score his perfect...

    Debugging?

For the past day or so, when I go to edit a post, when I hit the "save changes" button, I get the following: A Runtime Error has occured. Do you wish to Debug? Line: 131 Error: Object expected If I click on "no" the box goes away and slowly the post goes up. If I click on "yes" an...

I really am impressed....24 seems amazing. I know when I see some answers I will think "how did I not know that? How could I have missed something so obviousl?" I cannot understand how 64 squares worked for you and not for me...i will try again. I know that a misspelling did me in for a while...

someone emailed it to me...i don't know where it came from. The link is not to a website..it is to my computer, and I don't know how else to make it work. You can use the questions, and when we get the "all clear" we can give our collective answers.

Yes, you are right. But the thing says "no cryptic answers". And I tried "spaces" rather than "squares" and still, it said I was wrong. However, I feel vindicated on number 13. I was so proud of myself for getting that one, and then it said I was wrong. But it turned out I had just...

    interesting IQ test...different

Here is the test for those who cannot open it with Excel. I don't have all the answers. It just tells you if you are right or wrong. You have to work out what the letters mean. See No 0 as an example. According to MENSA, if you get 19 + of these, you are a "genius". Only 2 MENSA...

24? That really is amazing if you are being straight with us. I have a few answers I am as positive as I can be about that the thing says I have wrong. I will give one example though. #29 I have "64 squares on a chess board" ..It fits perfectly, but the thing says I am wrong. :( :( :(...

Max, did not see that option on "save as" under "file"... I did see something like "Office 97" which would be more universally accessible. But there was a dash. Something like "97-2003"...anyway, I tried it and hope it works for more people than the 2003 version which I know is not yet widely...

9 months in federal prison for selling a BONG (no drugs)

Very good point. And I have to wonder what his motivation for this plea was. Tommy Chong may be a lot of things, but I don't believe he is stupid. Maybe crazy, but not that crazy. And certainly wealthy. So I have to believe that the only possible reason he could have for pleading guilty is...

are you counting the first answer? #0? You get one right (the example)...it doesn't count toward the total. Peace, :)RS

Max always has been gracious in helping me with tech issues. And I have always expressed my gratitude for that. All other behavior I don't pretend to understand. Peace, :)RS BTW GG, were you able to get the link to the IQ test to work?

OK, thanks Max...I tried to save it in an older format, but I got a message that it would not be compatible. I have Office 2003...any suggestions on how to work around this?? RS

    Boxter or Z4?

This was funny. I only posted to see how long Max, who doesn't stalk me:confused: would take to dispute whatever I wrote. Apparently he must have been busy for two whole hours. But as soon as he logged on, well there is nothing more predictable than what happened. Max is 100% consistent...

    interesting IQ test...different

While I don't believe this test measures IQ (as it claims to), I thought it was interesting. It is certainly more a measure of education and general retention of knowledge. Anyway, it's fun and it proclaims me to be a genius, so therefore I can't argue with the results. Though I know it...

    Boxter or Z4?

JD Powers owner satisfaction survey placed the Z4 first among sports cars. The Porsche 911 and the Corvette tied for second place. Now the NHTSA finds the Z4 to be the safest among sports cars, and the safest of any production car in roll over tests, As well as being exceedingly safe in...

    defining a living thing

GG, Tough to draw a line with ethics under far easier circumstances. But when it comes to life and death, you bring up a topic with no real answers. You may think you have them, but think again. As you pointed out, there is a clear difference in life forms. While comparing an amoeba to a...
