    Quest for financial freedom

Another trade: the market has capitulated on inflation and the market thinks the fed will too , that is what we call being behind the curve. I Expect a relocation from financials to the nasdaq again.

What has changed in the oil market? Even the God of oil trading has fallen.

that is some amazing confidence. 2 years of unwavering bullishness. i might be an idiot but i feel his arguments were rather simplistic. but one can't have a x00mm net worth simply by being a mad & blind bull in 2013-2014 ... right ? In the permian they can break even at 30 or even 25 for some...

Is Brexit Good or Bad For The Average Working Person?

look, the people were hoping for less pakis, indians, greeks and other southern europeans. the women of britain wanted the eastern euros out as they steal all the "good lads". etc.. etc.. this is what brexit was about (as if all those things come from Europe) instead what do they have - no...

What are the general Win rate and RR of professional/Full Time traders?

on my last run on a paper account i had 67% win rate on 140 or so trades over 15days. GPR of 4.6 but it doesn't mean much as you can't compare these figures across strategies.

    Dow 22000 Mission Accomplished!

47k gbp at a BB for an analyst 1. hardly upper. but the research they produce can be useful. and not all analysts are equal. you can also track their predictions easily so there is some form of skin in the game.

    Energy; what's the outlook?

nah bro. this is way too complicated. i've spent a great deal trying to understand enough to trade oil and up till now the only thing I am certain of is that there is a practical floor around 42 (not that it can't be broken for a day or two) due to oil services companies in the permian bassin.

    Time-based stops

    Intraday / Swing Trading Gold.

yes. mama yellen is dying to add those 25bps asap because she suspects she screwed big time by not doing it before. so whenever mama yellen get's a positive job report this makes the chances of her pulling the trigger much higher. Gold is driven by real free risk yield differentials.

    Intraday / Swing Trading Gold.

ok here's my take on it. FYi i also catched this one with 50x leverage till 1258 It fell at exactly 13:30 GMT when the jobs data and beat estimates significantly. it first fell 0.6pc and stagnated for 20mins, enough time for the serious market participants to digest that release and then fell...

    Shkreli at court

I wonder how Brachman achieved that.. he has this reputation as the lawyer of last resort (if you can pay him) and on this one at least he owned up to it to the last cent. i'd really love to know how... Unless we actually are opining on this with material misstatements and then a lot of people...

What has changed in the oil market? Even the God of oil trading has fallen.

i don't think its that complicated but lack of transparency makes it hard to study completely why: 1. Until now I have yet to see a clear demonstration of what the breakeven price is for each bassin 2. Because of they way these projects are financed: they sell LONG Dated futures en masse to...
